CV Protek opened a branch in Yakutsk PROTEK-45
The national distributor CV Protek announces the opening of its branch in Yakutsk Protek-45. The new warehouse will allow the daily delivery of goods to chemist’s shops in the regional capitals. After placing their orders company's customers will be able to receive ordered items in the next morning, and the range of products available to pharmacies will increase to 5,000 items.
When the Yakutsk branch was placed into service, the delivery distance reduced by more than 2,000 km. The new warehouse allows to ship goods not only to pharmacies in the center of Republic, but also to municipal units of the region. The company also plans to begin shipments from the Yakutsk branch of the Magadan region. The warehouse area of the new branch is about 1,000 square meters. It will allow increasing significantly the range of products available to customers.
The Yakutsk warehouse will help to unload logistics centers of Protek in the neighboring regions, especially in the Khabarovsk branch, which until recently has been supplying goods to Yakutia. The new warehouse in Yakutsk became the third branch of Protek in the Far Eastern Federal District, along with warehouses in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok.
Dmitry Pogrebinsky, Director General of CV Protek, said: "The opening of the warehouse in Yakutsk will meet the needs of customers in the region for medicines and parapharmaceutical products. By reducing transport costs we can reduce the cost of goods for pharmacies in Yakutia. In addition, we will be able to increase the delivery and improve customer services. Protek plans to continue development of its logistics network and upgrade the existing warehouses for effective provision of medicines and parapharmaceutical products to the regions.”
There are representative offices of Implementation Center Protek in all regions of Russia. The regional management system of one of the largest national pharmaceutical distributors includes six regional zones: "Center", "Moscow", " Moscow Vicinity", "Volga", "South", "Ural", "East". Customers of each zone are serviced by the central regional warehouses in the Moscow region, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Kazan, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg. The main logistics center of Transservice customs warehouse facility, acting as a distributor, is located in Pushkino. Goods are shipped to all regions from this facility. Currently, the company has 42 branches and 43 sales offices. The total warehouse area is about 160,000 square meters.
