PROTEK confirms lead in logistics

The company PROTEK Implementation Centre has confirmed its lead among major logistics providers at year-end 2009 as the Best Sectoral Distributor. The Logistics Provider of Russia 2009 rating was organized by the Eurasian Logistics Association and the KIA Centre company with support from the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Transport Ministry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Moscow International Business Association.

Experts reviewed the performance indicators of logistics providers. The rating participants filled in the questionnaires developed by the organizers and provided copies of financial documents. PROTEK Implementation Centre has emerged as Number One in the ranking of Logistics Operators of Russia for a number of years. The company has always given a lot of attention to effective logistics and infrastructure projects. In 2009, these efforts included the organization of the company's logics system centred on major warehousing hubs.

The Logistics Provider of Russia rating was set up in 2002. Over the seven years of its history, the project has involved some 300 companies. The project's objectives are to mobilize corporate resources to reach a new high in business growth and competitive capacity in the changing global economic environment, and to provide unbiased information on the current situation in the logistics market of Russia and its players.
