New Pharmaceutical Warehouse Facility Was Launched in Samara

National pharmaceutical distributor CV PROTEK, a part of PROTEK Group of Companies, declares launching of a new logistics facility in Samara. The launched office and warehouse facility is one of the most up-to-date pharmaceutical warehouses in the Volga region. The area of the new facility exceeds 5,000 square meters. The warehouse is equipped with a modern system for collection of orders which allows to ensure prompt delivery of medicines to pharmacies and medical and prophylactic institutions of Samara and in the nearest future – to pharmacy institutions of adjacent regions. Customers of PROTEK will receive access to the widest range of medicines and parapharmaceuticals products – 13,000 items from 800 Russian and foreign manufacturers.

The PROTEK complex complies with the highest requirements to pharmaceutical warehouses: availability of refrigerating chambers, secured areas for all medicine groups including inflammable, poisonous and superpotent medicines. For accounting and automation of management of the Samara facility the system ERP Oracle E-Business Suite is used, ensuring coordination and efficiency of warehouse operations. The system is integrated with the head enterprise in Moscow and with majority of customers and allows online tracking of warehouse situation and accounting of arriving and stored goods. Investment in the warehouse was about 200 million rubles. The warehouse commissioned in Samara was the fifth interregional facility of the PROTEK national logistics network. In 2008 centers in St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg were put into operation.
