eZakaz Electronic Order System

Currently, up to 80% of all pharmacy orders are formed through the electronic order systems. Protek was among the first ones to establish the electronic order system for medications in 1995.

This application helps our clients to get quick access to information about the products stored at our Company’s warehouse and build an on-line order.

Currently, CV Protek offers your pharmacies the eZakaz application, a new modified electronic order system.

Currently, more than 16,300 pharmacy outlets across Russia are using the eZakaz application, which operates successfully, provides many additional services, and has a user-friendly interface. In addition to its core functions typical of such applications, such as price list and order placement, eZakaz provides the following functionality:

• you can use one workstation to work with more than one payer and recipient;
• maintain order archives and electronic invoices;
• obtain a list of medications unavailable at the warehouse as of the order placement;
• build your order using the medication synonyms;
• use detailed description of the medications;
• file claims with regard to the merchandise (excessive or insufficient quantities, etc.);
• promptly receive fresh company news and promotion ads;
• launch the application in a packet mode (using the command line);
• share electronic documents with the pharmacies’ warehouses (support of modern export/import format of the XML-based CommercML documents);
• use the application as part of the network (send batch orders and save traffic used for receiving the price lists).

The application developers focused on user friendliness of the system for easy order placement. Medications in the price list can be located using different search words, such as medication code number, first letters of the name, part of the name, part of the medication’s description. In addition to that, there are many filtering procedures: by product category, by manufacturer, by international nonproprietary name.

eZakaz is used in working with the Farmspravka application and the commission agreement.
The application server supports information sharing with the clients using offline transportation. Today, several major clients share information with Protek using the ftp server. This type of transportation is different, because the client has no client part of the eZakaz application.

Currently, we have all our clients migrate to a new eZakaz version. This system retained all the good parts of the previous versions, and offers new capabilities to its clients.
